The 7.5% povidone-iodine surgical sponge/brush is a single-use product intended for the hygiene and antisepsis of the hands and forearms of medical personnel prior to surgical interventions or procedures.
The product consists of a sponge impregnated with a povidone-iodine-based antiseptic solution and includes a component for cleaning under the nails, facilitating the removal of impurities from hard-to-reach areas. To use, wet the hands and forearms, clean the nail area, scrub the skin according to the surgical scrub procedure, and then rinse thoroughly with water.
It is intended exclusively for external use and should be applied only to intact skin. Do not use near the eyes, and do not reuse. After use, the product must be disposed of properly. It is recommended to store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and high temperatures.
