The Guedel oropharyngeal airway in size 2 is used to keep the upper airway clear in unconscious patients by preventing the tongue from falling back towards the pharynx. The anatomical shape follows the contour of the oral cavity, while the central channel allows air to pass through and secretions to be suctioned when needed. The rigid flange is colour-coded, which helps in quickly selecting the right size. The product is intended for single use.
